It all seemed so innocuous at first--some painting, refinishing floors, installing a garage door...soon we were making plans to remodel our kitchen...

Concrete countertop template
We placed doorskin down on our cabinets and used a hot glue gun to make a template. The template was transfered to melamine and we added melamine on the sides to 1 1/2 inch.
